About Our Owner

Mr. Ervin A. VanSlambrouck has more than 30 years experience in the law enforcement industry, including 20 years in service to our country as a Military Policeman in the U.S. Army. During his career as an M.P., Mr. VanSlambrouck performed a variety of duties from A.W.O.L. apprehension to civil defense training. At the time of his retirement from the military, he was serving as the Subject Matter Expert on Terrorism and Civil Defense.

Since that time, Mr. VanSlambrouck has worked as a federal law enforcement officer for the Federal Reserve and has worked for Jefferson County, Alabama. It was during his employment with Jefferson County that VanSlam, Inc., was born when Mr. VanSlambrouck was approached by both Deputy Constables and attorneys to perform process serving. What started as a small, part-time job to earn extra money has flourished into a family-owned corporation that employs Mr. VanSlambrouck and most of his family full time.
